Thank you

Little did I know that one single comment would start a huge discussion about disabilities, consent, bullying, awareness, privacy, and objectiveness.

You know what?

I THANK YOU.

I really do. Without the internet, which brings this blog far and wide, I could not have this back and forth sharing of ideas. I welcome them ALL. I don't judge people if they don't agree with me. I embrace that. I want to start people thinking, to start conversing with each other and share their thoughts, ideas, anger, joy, whatever is on their minds in a positive debate.

I don't have all the answers. I  have never claimed to have them. My ideas and opinions won't work for every single person, and that is OK.

I'm not here to change minds. I'm here to open those minds to new concepts.

If you've read something here and it has made you THINK something, whether that is positive or negative, then I have done my job.

Thank you so very much for reading this blog, and I hope that you will continue to read. I welcome all of your comments, thoughts, and opinions on this subject. Please post below and I will reply to them all.

  1. I don't know if my opinion means anything but I'm a Mom of an Aspie and it's a lonely road I walk down. The only people I've met who understand are those who live like me. Aspergers has isolated my family from other family members, friends and the community. No one believes what we go through in a day and sharing is the only way to pass along the good things and the bad. I think your doing great and by the time our children are old enough to really understand the reasons for blogging they will most likely being be blogging themselves. As long as the general public, government etc think that having an invisible disablity like Aspergers doesn't impead daily living. That all our kids have to do is "get over it" and work a little harder, I believe sharing is the only way to show the truth. So I cheer for you and keep on sharing. We all have the Haters, they're our neighbors, family, friends, strangers of every kind. Haters will always be around but there will also be supporters and they are the ones you hold close. You can't teach those who are not ready learn.

  2. Thank you so much for your response and your support. I'm about sharing what I know in the way that I know how. I was debating even stopping writing, but I feel in my heart that's letting the negativity get to me. And I won't do that. Life's not interesting if you're not taking leaps of faith.
